They’re soo cute!!! Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Sequeakquel hits stands>.

Watched the first “for children” movie for the blog, and I enjoyed every minute of it. It had the typical kid movie plot, boy meets girl, boy loses girl, and boy wins girl back. Now if only it was humans that were going through the plot.

Yes, that’s right, Alvin and the Chipmunks The Squeakquel, the cast brings back Justin Long, Jason Lee, David Cross, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney, and added Zachary Levi (Chuck from the NBC TV Series Chuck) as Toby Dave’s cousin and Amy Poehler,

Anna Faris and Christina Applegate as the Chipettes. The movie is fun and actually quite entertaining even for me. It has

some jokes that only the parents or young adults would get mostly so they are not bored when bring their kids to see it.

The animation was done very well and acting fit the movie style. The chipmunks sing recent music hits and go to school. While at school they are asked to sing to save the music department from being shut down. The movie was a true live animation movie with a true kid’s plot.

My final word is if you liked the first one you’ll like this one as well.
